The golden nuts have cracked. Something is stirring beneath the leaves. And deep within the Dark Forest, a new energy pulses—brighter, bolder, and nuttier than ever.
Welcome to GoNuts Season 2, where stacking is smarter, the forest is livelier, and the rewards? Let’s just say… squirrels who know, know.
Whether you’re a seasoned Squirrel from Season 1 or just scurrying into the Treehouse ecosystem, this guide has everything you need to climb faster, earn harder, and GoNuts better.
How to Earn Nuts (The Basics)
Nuts are our way of rewarding participation across the Treehouse ecosystem.
At the core of GoNuts, it’s simple:
- Hold tAssets:
For every 0.1 tETH you hold, you earn 1 Nut daily. Whether it’s chilling in your wallet, deposited in a vault, or even supplied to a supported lending protocol, your tETH still counts.
- Support Liquidity:
Provide liquidity through any of our supported pools and earn 1 Nut per 0.1 tETH of LP value. Curve, Pendle, and others—the deeper you go, the bigger the stash. - Use Integrated Assets:
It’s not just about tETH. Tokens like gtETH, cmETH, and more are all part of the Nut economy. If it’s part of the system, it’s part of the rewards.
Even small amounts add up. You only need 0.02 tETH or equivalent to start stacking.
So whether you’re holding, LP-ing, lending, or yield-hunting, your Nuts are always working.
Features That Power the Treehouse
Season 2 brings more than just higher rewards—it introduces new systems that drive long-term growth in the Treehouse ecosystem. From Buffs that boost your earnings, to Badges that recognize your contributions, to Tiers and Quests that guide your progress—each element plays a role in helping you grow, earn, and level up.
Here’s how it all comes together.

Buffs: The Secret to Growing Your Stash
Season 1 was just the beginning—and we heard you loud and clear.
Some squirrels told us the boost system felt like navigating a maze blindfolded. Between time-based multipliers, portfolio-value bonuses, and seasonal quirks, it was hard to tell what was stacking, when, and why.
So in Season 2, we’ve cleaned it up. Simplified it. Supercharged it.
Enter: Buffs.
These are your new multipliers—easy to understand, easy to track, and way more powerful.
There are two types of buffs:
- Specific Buffs:
Targeted boosts tied to assets like LPs, vaults, and yield markets. Only applies to assets that qualify. - Universal Buffs:
Blanket boosts. These apply to everything you earn, no matter the source.
And yes—they stack.
Specific Buffs get applied first, then Universal Buffs compound the whole thing. Squirrels who plan smart will climb fast.
Here’s how it works:
Step-by-step: From Assets to a Full Sack
- Start with what you’ve got
You earn 10 Nuts per 1 tETH worth of assets per day—whether you’re holding, staking, or doing unspeakable things. - Apply Specific Buffs
If your asset qualifies (think vaults, LPs, YTs), we slap a multiplier on it. It’s like protein powder for your Nuts. - Add it all up
Combine your boosted assets into one glorious Nut total. This is your base before the real fun begins. - Apply Universal Buffs
Have a badge? NFT? Ancient Squirrel bloodline? These apply across the board, multiplying everything you’ve earned like your Nuts are on fertility pills.
Still confused?
We’ll break it down with more examples later in the Case Studies section. For now, just know: the more assets you’ve got, the bigger your sack.
Squirrel Army: Buffs for Early Squirrels
“Every great forest remembers who planted the first seeds.”
If you were around before the Treehouse canopy took shape, you’re not just early—you’re respected.
For those who were here before Treehouse truly began to rise, here’s what’s in store!

Note: Snapshot for eligibility for the S1 Squirrel Army buff was taken on May 26, 2025 (UTC 0000).

Squirrel Allies: Buffs from Our Protocol Partners

Here’s what you unlock by joining the Council:
- Up to 200% Universal Buff
Each TSC NFT gives you a 100% Universal Buff (stacking up to 3 for a 200% max). - A Real-World Gift

Badges: A Squirrel’s Token of Honour
“The ones who show up always leave a mark.”
Some squirrels flex wallets. Others flex Buffs.
But the real ones? They wear Badges.
Badges are proof that you’ve been part of something bigger—that you showed up, stacked hard, and left your mark on the Treehouse.
Season 1 saw a bunch of them: from festive quests to first-time mints, badges were scattered across the forest like golden leaves. But in Season 2, we’re starting with just one.
The S1 Squirrel Medal.
This shiny little badge gives you a 50% Universal Buff on all your daily Nut earnings. No need to claim—it’s already applied if you made the cut.
More badges will drop as the story unfolds—and yes, they’ll come with utility beyond just looking good.
So if you’ve got one, wear it like armor. The forest remembers.
Royal Scrolls: Weekly Quests from the Squirrel King
“The forest rewards those who dare to act.”
New in Season 2, the Squirrel King now unrolls a royal scroll each week, revealing quests that calls upon squirrels to take action.
Each quest is a limited-time opportunity to:
- Earn Limited-Time Buffs
Temporary multipliers that’ll pump your Nut output like it’s bulking season. - Gain Quest Points
These contribute to your Tier progression—more on that in a bit. - Secure Nut Drops
No elaboration needed.
Quests drop weekly later in Season 2. When they do, don’t sleep—squirrels who act fast get the juiciest Nuts.
The Climb: Tier Progression System
“Each branch climbed brings you closer to the canopy.”
Also making its debut this season: Treehouse Tiers.
It’s simple: the more you participate, the higher your Tier. And while we’re not revealing all the perks yet, just know this: Tiers grant you status and more rewards.
How do you level up? Complete quests. Earn points. Be active. Go NUTS for rewards.
The Tier System will go live alongside Weekly Quests later in Season 2.
Upgraded Tools: Track Your Nuts Like a Pro
With all these new ways to stack, it’s only fair we upgrade your tracking tools. Welcome to the revamped Squirrel Toolkit!

2. Leaderboard (Coming Soon)
You’re not the only one stacking. Soon, you’ll be able to:
- See your rank among all Squirrels

Fair Play Policy: No Nuts for Cheaters
At Treehouse, we take ecosystem integrity seriously.
Squirrels attempting to game GoNuts Season 2 using bots, scripts, or Sybil wallets will be blacklisted and permanently banned from all current and future rewards. We’ve deployed anti-Sybil mechanisms to detect and act against malicious actors.
This isn’t just about a campaign, it’s about our community.
Play fair. Stack smart. Or get rekt.
Case Studies: How Buffs Turn into Nuts
After days of foraging, staking, and exploring the Dark Forest, many squirrels are wondering:
How many Nuts am I actually earning each day?
In the Case Studies section below, we break down exactly how Buffs turn small holdings into a full-blown Nutstorm. Whether you’ve got one tETH or a whole forest of LPs, you’ll see how the right strategy can explode your daily earnings.
From:
- Bob with just Specific Buffs,
- to Alice running full Universal loadout,
- to Carl, who went full Nutchemist and stacked both…
Their Nuts tell the story.
Scroll down for the math. Copy their strategy. Or beat it.
Scenario 1: Specific Buff Only
Bob has:
- 1 tETH worth of liquidity in the gtETH vault (200% Specific Buff)
- 2 tETH worth of liquidity in Pendle’s YT-tETH (100% Specific Buff)

Without Buffs, Bob would earn 30 Nuts. Thanks to Specific Buffs, he earns 70.
Scenario 2: Universal Buff Only
Alice has:
- 3 tETH in wallet
- 2 TSC NFTs (150% Universal Buff)
- S1 Medal Badge (50% Universal Buff)
With 2 TSC NFTs and S1 Medal Badge, Alice has a total of 200% Universal Buff on her Base Nuts!

Alice didn’t use any special vaults, but her NFTs and badge multiply her Nuts to make her sack (if she has any) BIGGER.
Scenario 3: Specific + Universal Buffs
Carl has:
- 1.5 tETH in wallet
- 2 tETH worth of liquidity in a Curve LP (100% Specific Buff)
- 3 TSC NFTs (200% Universal Buff)
What happens when there are both Specific and Universal Buffs in the mix?
Remember: Specific Buffs get applied first, then Universal Buffs compound the whole thing.

Carl combines both Buff types and earns 165 Nuts instead of 55—a big jump!
Summary
- Base Rate: 10 Nuts per 1 tETH worth of holdings
- Specific Buffs apply to individual assets
- Universal Buffs apply to total daily earnings
- Buffs stack, with Specific Buffs calculated first, then Universal Buffs applied on top
Your Journey Begins Here
Season 2 isn’t just another campaign—it’s a nut-fuelled pilgrimage.
With Buffs to stack, Quests to chase, and Tiers to climb, the forest is alive with energy. Whether you’re just nibbling your first Nut or grinding daily like a feral squirrel on espresso, there’s room for you in the canopy.
